Can I pickup my artwork from your studio?
You may make an appointment to pick up your artwork if you live near Littleton, CO.
Do you teach or mentor students.
I teach and mentor 1 - 2 students privately. We can discuss what you would like to
learn, develop a plan and discuss a budget. I highly recommend this if you are
interested in learning about encaustic painting and have never used this painting
medium. I also teach natural dyeing for fiber artist.
Do you donate to charities for fund raising events?
Please send a letter of request for your charity event. I usually only pick one or two
charities a year to work with and do this at the beginning of each year.
How do you care for an encaustic painting?
Like all fine art encaustic painting and textile artworks should be kept out of direct
sunlight. Encaustic paintings should be buffed with a soft cotton fabric like a t-shirt
if the wax gets dull looking. The sides of all of my paintings have been painted with
an acrylic based paint or have been varnished. They can be wiped with a damp cloth.
All textile work is non-washable. You can gently wipe them with a clean, soft cloth or
clean paint brush to remove dust. You can also frame them in a shadow box style
frame behind glass to protect them from getting dirty.
Do you issue Certificates of Authenticity?
All works of art come with care instructions, Certificates of Authenticity, and a photo of
the work and paid invoices for insurance purposes.
Will my artwork be ready to hang?
All original paintings come ready to hang. The proper hangers will be included for the
weight of the paintings along with instructions.
All textile artwork will also be ready to hang with instructions.
How do I use the Live Image Preview?
The Live Preview tool (augmented reality) on my site allows you to use your phone or
tablet to see how my art will look on your walls. There's no app to install, you will need
to use a mobile device with a current browser. Pull up my website on your mobile
device and navigate to the image you're interested in previewing, and click on the "Live
Preview" button. My website will launch your camera from within your internet browser
and superimpose the artwork onto whatever you have your phone pointed at. It's best
to stand 10-12 feet from the wall where you want to see the art, and face it straight on.
You can change the artwork's position just by moving the phone, and you can choose
sizes with the pull down menu at the bottom of the screen.
How long will it take for my artwork to arrive?
See the notice below for exceptions to this, but for a standard order placed through this
site, allow a week to 10 days for production and one week for shipping. Keep weekends
and holidays in mind too.
My print provider prides themselves on quality, consistency and fast delivery.
Occasionally, there may be factors (special requests, unclear instructions, production
problems, etc.) that might cause an order to be delayed. They rarely miss their
production times, however they are not guaranteed. Some items, like really large
artwork, may take longer in production.
I promise to protect your personal information, not sell it or give it to anyone outside the
art and print production and delivery process. I will not hold on to your data for longer
than I need to to process your order.

FOR PRINTS We will choose the most cost-effective shipping carrier based on the items ordered and their destination. Shipping times range from 1-7 business days. You will receive a tracking number as soon as your order has been shipped.

Due to shipping requirements and the potential for damage, some products over 30" on the short side, or over 40" in length must be crated at an additional cost. All additional Crate fees are included in the product total.

Shipping Outside of the Continental US, Expedited Shipping, and Special Requests
APO shipping is charged full cost and sent via USPS.
Requests for shipping outside of the continental United States, other types of shipping, and expedited shipping will be charged at full cost.
We are not responsible for duties and taxes required for international shipping.
Shipping Quotes are available for large orders or orders shipping to international destinations. Please contact me with the details of what will be in the order and the address it will be shipped to.
FOR ORIGINALS & LIMITED EDITIONS All shipping is from the US and Canada and foreign clients will be responsible for
paying all applicable taxes and duty upon receipt of their artwork. Artwork shipped
within the US is free. When shipping to other countries clients will need to contact me through the website to determine shipping fees.
All works of art are insured and will be shipped with FedEX or UPS. Tracking numbers
will be supplied for every shipment. Each work of art is shipped separately even if
multiple paintings are ordered, with the exception of small packages, if requested.
However, shipping is based upon weather conditions and maybe delayed
if you are purchasing an original encaustic painting.
Shipping from the US to Canada and Abroad: All shipping is from the US and all
Canada and foreign clients will be responsible for paying all
applicable taxes and duty upon receipt of their paintings.
Shipping Fees: All shipping fees are pre-calculated for Canada and U.S. All other
countries will need to contact me directly through the website to arrange shipping fees.
